Serve It Up’s Job Ready program is the leading food and beverage service-oriented hospitality training courses in Melbourne. You will have the option of completing 2 different hospitality short courses designed for the job role you are applying for. We have a 3 day bar course or 3 day coffee course. Each course includes the essential hospitality job ready certification BSBSS00095 – Cross-Sector Infection Control Skill Set and your Food handling certificate – Level 1 . These hospitality industry training courses will provide the skills and knowledge as well as Job Ready certificates to obtain and secure food and beverage positions in Melbourne’s leading cafes, restaurants and bars.

Bar & Service + Job Ready Tickets
This course will cover:
- Bar skills

If you wish to undertake 2 different Job Ready courses (Bar & Coffee) you will need to pay full fee for your 2nd course. You can access a 30% discount for your second if you have fully completed your first course.
Funded places are limited due to allocations each training organisation receives each calendar year from the Victorian Government. Check when enrolling if funded places are still available.
Discounted RSA: If you complete your job ready course and have paid your fees, you can receive $20 off your RSA.
Coffee + Job Ready Tickets
This course will cover:
- Induction to coffee
- How to use the coffee machine & grinder
- Making a range of espresso coffees
- Latte art
- Food Handlers’ Certificate
- Infection Control
- Using the Point of Sale (POS)
- Hospitality Service Skills
- Discounted RSA on completion of the course work

Government Funding
This training is delivered with Victorian and Commonwealth Government funding. The course fees/costs depend upon eligibility for a Government subsidy, via the Skills First Funding Program. Using a funded place can affect your access to future funding. If you are not eligible for funding the course fees will be the “Fee for Service” rate.
