Such a fantastic, smooth, and incredibly fun experience to get my Cert IV in Hospitality here at Serve it Up!! I had the most wonderful trainer Steph helping us all along the way, her industry insight, humour and patience really made our classes something special. I absolutely loved how we got the opportunity to make and drink real beverages, including both cocktails and coffees! This was an invaluable learning experience for me, and this Certificate assisted me in getting my job recently. Would give 100/5 stars if I could, thank you Serve It Up you rock 👏👏

I completed the bar and job ready course and it was a lot of fun. Well worth the time and money. If you feel like you're in that awkward position where you want to work in a bar but need experience first so you don't embarrass yourself, this is the perfect step forward. You learn so many things about working with alcohol and handling customers here in a low stakes environment where you are free to mess up and learn from your mistakes. The alternative being that you mess up on your first day on a new high stakes job and don't have the skills to handle it. Everything is very hands-on and intuitive, which is great for the people who learn from doing rather than following words. The people at Serve It Up are very friendly, welcoming, and easy to talk to; they are rooting for the success of all their students. I was introduced to years worth of inside knowledge, concepts, and personal tips that would have otherwise taken me years to acquire. 10/10 recommend for anybody. Please help these people out, they are doing a good thing.

I just completed my Cert 4 X10 week course on Monday this is one of the best courses i have completed. A huge thank-you to my instructor Steph she’s absolutely amazing she supports you so much and helps you whenever you need help, She goes absolutely above and beyond. She has taught me so much in this course and i am beyond thankful for her support and knowledge. I have had so much fun in this course over the 10 weeks learning heaps of recipes for Cocktails and a whole bunch of different coffees. I really looked forward to every monday knowing that i would have such a fun day at Tafe full of fun enjoyable learning. i really enjoyed this course and have learnt so much. Like i said above a big thankyou to steph she is amazing ❤️❤️

Steph is so great, she's super approachable in all aspects of the course, practical help, quiz help and just general questions. She's both knowledgeable and transparent about the industry and shares her experience, and provides helpful feedback. You're not scared to mess up in front of her. The rest of the Serve It Up staff have also been super friendly, and are really understanding and accomodating to people's busy schedules. I genuinely enjoy coming into my course every week (even if I hate early mornings) because it's a very comfortable environment. The course itself is straightforward, all the information needed to pass the quizzes and assessments are included in the learning content, and any out-dated or confusing info can be clarified in class. The classes are engaging, easy to follow, and I enjoy how hands on all the pracs are as you quickly learn through repetition.

Absolutely amazing experience! 10/10 would recommend! Jim was an awesome teacher, very patient and made everyone feel welcome.

I’m blown away on how fun, supportive and easy the learning experience is here. My class had fun learning and making cocktails (which we got to drink after yay), overall it was a fun experience and good moneys worth. Also shout out to Jim, our teacher for the bar and service course, he was spectacular. This place needs more love it’s great for hospo babies.

This place is incredible! Jim is a legend and made us all feel very comfortable and took us through everything including cocktail making and responsibly serving alcohol. Absolutely amazing company I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for experience!

I had called 4 or 5 different training organisations to enquire and ultimately book an RSA Course, to accommodate a student with that requires consideration and extra supports. It all seemed too hard until I made the call to Serve It Up.
Jim was incredible, he made the process easy, he was patient, knowledgeable and helpful with making arrangements, to ensure the student is supported.

Went here to do some training in bartending. Was given a stupid enrolment form to complete that asked irrelevant ridiculous questions.
You shouldn't have to answer maths questions to learn to pour drinks.
Not accommodating for nerodivergent or people with specific learning issues is rubbish.

I took a job ready barista course with Ben and Steph, and I must say it was truly wonderful! Now I actually do feel job ready, as the amazing instructors took us through all the steps of working in a cafe environment. The atmosphere was fun and laid back, the whole experience was greatly informative. I recommend it with my whole heart!

I had an amazing experience working with serve it up the course was easy to understand and had incredible people teaching you the experience that they've gained over their time working the industry. I believe that it's worth investing time into them if you wish to have a better being introduced into hospitality.

Nice teacher and supportive help full explain everything

I did my espresso coffee, infection control and RSA with SIU. They were thorough, informative, experienced and the coffee course involved plenty of actual practice with the machines, using a pretty nice blend and actual milk and alternative milks, so if you’re into coffee you can pretty much drink unlimited amounts throughout the day. 🤪 They also gave out free lunch, but there’s a cafe downstairs if you’re still hungry. Enjoyed my 5 days there and I’d def recommend the training, although it took a few weeks for them to send the certificate afterwards.

The instructors, Steph A, Tash, Sophie, and Steph R, were absolutely phenomenal. Each one brought their own unique expertise and shared their knowledge down to the simplest details, making the learning process both comprehensive and enjoyable.

From the fundamentals of coffee-making to advanced techniques, they covered everything with clarity and patience. Their passion for good coffee, hospitality, customer service and dedication to teaching were truly inspiring. The practical, hands-on approach of the course provided us with invaluable job-ready skills and boosted our confidence in pursuing careers in the coffee/hospitality industry.

The course not only equipped us with the technical know-how but also gave us the right push to continue learning and growing in this field. I highly recommend this course to anyone interested in learning the ways of espresso-making, customer service, food handling and safety with infection control guidance. When I started the Barista Course, I had very limited knowledge about coffee. The Course trainers were very knowledgeable, exciting and patient. They taught us how to make 10 different coffees, coffee art, 3 various types of chai, and different cold coffee amongst other topics by 4th Day. I learnt so much about everything you will need to know about being a good barista and become job ready. Thank you. 💖
